Practical Path Academy Agent Publisher Privacy Policy
Effective October 6, 2026. Hire Cause Technologies LLC operates Practical Path Academy and this desktop publishing tool for its own YouTube channel. The channel owner is its only authorized user. Students and website visitors do not connect Google accounts to this tool.
This notice describes the current owner-operated Agent Publisher, not Google's own services or a public student account system.
Data accessed and purpose
The application accesses the authorized channel identity, upload list and video metadata/status to verify ownership, upload lessons and check results. It sends owner-produced video files and their titles, descriptions, language and audience settings to YouTube. Google authorization produces access and refresh tokens; the application does not request the Google account password.
YouTube permissions and captions
The tool requests the Google OAuth permission https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube.force-ssl. This permission permits management of YouTube videos, ratings, comments and captions. Our implemented operations use it to identify the owner’s channel, list uploads, upload original educational videos, inspect processing and privacy status, list caption tracks, upload and update English caption files, and download those tracks to verify their timing and text. Caption information includes the video and track identifiers, language, track name, serving status and owner-produced subtitle text. The tool currently does not read viewer comments, modify ratings, collect subscriber lists or delete videos. The broader permission is needed because the upload-only permission does not support caption insertion.
How information is used
Channel identifiers prevent uploads to the wrong channel. Video identifiers, titles, descriptions, upload status and caption status let the owner reconcile publishing results and avoid duplicate uploads. Local file hashes identify the lesson file associated with an upload; they are not visitor tracking identifiers. Access tokens authenticate requests, and refresh tokens obtain replacement access tokens without asking the owner to sign in for each operation. Original lesson video and subtitle files are sent to YouTube for hosting. We do not use YouTube account data for advertising, profiling website visitors or selling personal information.
Website visits
This static website has no sign-in, analytics scripts, advertising scripts or embedded video players. Following a YouTube link opens YouTube, where Google's policies apply. The hosting server may process IP addresses, request paths and browser information to deliver pages and diagnose errors. It does not host the channel's OAuth credentials.
Local storage
OAuth credentials and resumable-upload session details are kept in private local files excluded from source control, with owner-only filesystem permissions. Separate local records retain video IDs, file hashes, upload state and verification evidence for reconciliation. Previous downloaded caption files may be retained locally as revision backups. Original lesson files remain in the production workspace. No automated retention or deletion schedule is currently installed; cleanup is an owner-operated process.
Service providers and agents
Google processes authorization and uploaded content. Coding agents help operate this workflow; selected channel metadata, status and sanitized evidence may be included in their working context. Credential values are excluded from intentional agent output and public records. Original lesson scripts and audio may be processed by separate AI production providers. This workflow does not intentionally use YouTube API data to train general-purpose models or sell that data. Provider processing remains subject to the relevant account settings and provider terms.
Security and access
Google authorization and API requests use HTTPS. Credentials are stored in a local directory with owner-only access and credential files have restricted permissions; they are excluded from version control and the public website build. These controls do not constitute a claim of encryption at rest or a guarantee against unauthorized access. The owner controls access to the workstation and connected service accounts. Sanitized operational records are kept separate from credentials.
Retention and deletion
Credentials are retained locally while the owner uses the connection. Upload and caption records remain until the owner removes them, because they prevent duplicate or conflicting publishing operations. There is currently no automatic expiry or purge of local records. To request access, correction or deletion of information held by Practical Path Academy, contact support@redeyeteam.com and identify the relevant channel or record without sending passwords or tokens. The owner handles these requests and may need to verify the requester’s authority. Local removal and Google revocation are separate steps. Original videos and captions stored by YouTube remain subject to the owner’s YouTube controls and Google’s retention practices. Any copies already processed by service providers are governed by those providers’ terms and account settings.
Owner controls
The owner can revoke access in Google Account connections. Local credentials and records can be removed separately; deleting local records does not delete videos hosted on YouTube. Video deletion and visibility are managed through YouTube. Revocation stops subsequent authorized operations after outstanding access expires or is rejected.
To revoke authorization, open Google Account connections, select Practical Path Academy Agent Publisher and remove its access. The publishing tool must be authorized again before it can resume access after revocation takes effect. For channel content, use YouTube Studio to change visibility or remove videos and captions.
Children and learner information
The publishing tool does not offer learner registration, quizzes that collect personal responses, payment processing or student profiles. The website does not intentionally collect children’s personal information. Interactions on YouTube are handled by YouTube and subject to its policies.

Google's separate handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
